Inspiration for my sailing paintings
I love taking photographs of life and living in Torbay surrounded by the sea I often capture people out on their boats sailing. I like to portray energy and movement in my paintings combing elements of abstract and realism. I work in acrylics and depending on my mood I will choose bold striking colours or at other times I prefer a simplistic black and white effect, using the colours themselves to produce various other shades.
